Lawrence H. Carlton, CPA MST

Larry Carlton is licensed as a CPA in Massachusetts. He founded L H Carlton, CPA LLC in 2016 after retiring from Carlton & Duran, CPAs PC that he had founded in 1975. He is a member of the AICPA and MSCPA.

As a member of the AICPA Tax Section he has served as an appointed member to the Tax Executive Committee, IRS Advocacy & Relations Committee, Individual and Self-Employment Tax Technical Resource Panel and the Tax Practice Responsibilities Committee. Additionally, he has served on a number of Tax Division task forces and working groups. He is also a member of the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Section.

As a member of the MSCPA he has served on the Taxation Committee (past chair), Board of Directors, as Vice President, Ethics Committee (past chair) and the financial planning committee.

Carlton was an adjunct instructor for numerous years at Boston University and Middlesex Community College.
Carlton received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting (summa cum laude) from Boston university and his Masters Degree in Taxation from Bentley University.
